Burned Him?

A man supposedly forced his son to get into the oven naked! He as threatening to burn him after he caught his son looking in his wallet. He never actually did turn the oven on, but he did hold his sons hands right over the burners on the top. The poor kid has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his hands.

All the neighbors said the kid is a friendly and respectful boy, and they have no problem with him. I don't get why someone would ever even think of doing that! Especially to their own kid!!! This guy is insane. This is like a hitler thing to do, and you know your messed u when you're being compared to Hitler!!!

Drunk Fire Chief?

When an emergency has happened, usually you would want someone to come and help the situation, so you call 911. But that isn't always the case. A Carlisle man's wife was having an emergency dealing with her diabetes so he called 911, the Fire Chief who came and helped was DRUNK! Mr. Burger was the Chief who admitted to drinking and was way over the legal limit. He wasn't much help at all, if anything he was a distraction! Luckily other medical staff arrived to help after or it could've been an even worse problem. Let's say that guy was called to a fire, who knows where that fire hose is going to be spraying.

Only in Iowa. Try to find that same thing happen in your state, good luck! With a name like Burger, you know something had to be up! :)

Central Iowa Strong-Man

Mark Hennessey isn't a guy you would want to make angry. He could curl Chuck Norris up in a little ball and hurl him. He is a professional power-lifter. Mark is going to Finland soon to try and break the bench press record for his height and weight. He is pretty confident he will beat it. He is 49 years old!!! Most people at that age lift the TV remote and a bag of chips daily, but he is benching around 700 pounds!

This isn't just some guy going for a record, he is one of my best friend's (Jake) uncle. I have talked to Mark a few times about his goals. He told me he wasn't even a very big guy coming out of high school and has never touched steroids. He just had a goal and as you can see, he worked HARD at it! He could use our help to get there too, the T-shirts he is selling are pretty nifty!

...and FYI boys may went to get on his good side, because his daughter (Jake's cousin) is "oh so stunning"!

Iowa's Golden Girl

SHAWN-JOHN!!! Shawn Johnson announced she will go and win the 2012 olympics, i mean go and compete in them. She will for sure be one of the favorites going into it (probably along with some 8 year old China finds to compete in it again). In the 2008 Beijing olympics she was the women's beam gold medalist, the individual silver medalist, and Shawn was also the 2007 and 2008 U.S. all around champ.

Shawn may be a stud gymnast, but baseball...Not her sport. She threw the opening pitch at the Iowa Cubs game and it was a BEAUTY! She was there raising awareness for Leukemia. When it's for a good cause (and when your that pretty) who cares if you throw a strike or not. As long as she brings back the gold in 2012, we don't care what she does :)

Current Events

Believe it or not, current events are going on as we speak! :) Stuff is happening and we need to know about it. I will talk about and give my opinion on what is going on here in Iowa. I'll prove to you that Iowa is an exciting state...WATCH ME!
